La mostra: _Skylines [2008]
_Skylines è un progetto multimediale che coniuga scultura, pittura e musica, sviluppato da Danilo Bozzetto e da Umberto Ferrero.
Il tema sviluppato è quello più intimo dell'ambiente e degli affetti che circondano i due artisti.
Le competenze progettistiche di Danilo Bozzetto, anche grafico e designer, si vanno a comporre con la tradizionale matericità della scultura e della pittura.
Il risultato è un unicum di forte impatto che si concretizza nella rappresentazione del suo ambiente famigliare e nelle fantasiose figure di cavalli e cavalieri facenti parte del più ampio progetto dell'artista di costituire un grande esercito giocattolo.
La sonorizzazione realizzata da Umberto Ferrero, in collaborazione con il producer romano David Nizi, compone un suggestivo dialogo con le opere portando in mostra anche le voci della famiglia di Danilo, registrate ed ultizzate come contrappunto alle musiche.
Le musiche composte per l'installazione accompagnano l'esposizione e sono allegate in un cd al catalogo realizzato in edizione limitata.
The exhibition: _Skylines [2008]
_Skylines Is a multimedia project that combines sculpture, painting and music, developed by Danilo Bozzetto and Umberto Ferrero.
The theme worked out concerns intimate environment, and affects surrounding the two artists.
The design skills of Danilo Bozzetto, also graphicdesigner, are arranged with the traditional materiality of sculpture and painting.
The result is a high impact unicum that is realised in the representation of its home enviroment and imaginative figures of horses and riders, which are part of the artist's broader project of building a large toy army.
The sound produced by Umberto Ferrero, in collaboration with roman producer David Nizi, creates an evocative dialogue with the works, bringing in the exhibition also the voices of Danilo's family, registered and used as counterpoint to the music.
Musics composed for the installation accompany the exhibition and are enclosed to the catalog in a cd made in limited edition. |
